EGR tube

Posted By: baxstar01 On: 03-19-2010 @ 09:04:56         Reply | Edit
So I was putting the tube from the egr valve into my headers and the tube broke just under the egr valve. can i just weld up the egr valve or is it a necessary part for my motor to run properly.

most people bypass their egr when they get headers but it will set a code and your SES light will go on so if you don't have HPTuners to delete the code and you have inspection in your state then you need the EGR to pass inspection
