Posted By: V8Poser On: 11-20-2009 @ 01:13:49         Reply | Edit
sup guys. yesterday i took off the w68 ground effects off the bird to freshen up the look. if any of you are interested in a PAINTED body kit for your v6 or formula birds, hit me up with some offers. ill be reasonable, but i know these parts are pretty valuble and gm sells them for an assload. ill look up some actual factory prices in awhile, as of now, im tired

Give it a little more time, you only posted this yesterday lol

If the sideskirts would fit, I'd get it, but they don't so.

I would, but I'm in too much of a cash flow reversal.... You should keep 'em on, though... IMO they make the car look sharp, and unless you're lowered, the cars sit too high without some sort of GFX...

since you used to have them on your car, how much higher is the lowest part of your body now with them off. I want the kit, but living in the NYC area in pot hole heaven, I worry if it will be a good idea or not.

that's something that was very interesting testing out. the front end, without the ground effects still scrapes on everywhere it scraped before. the only thing i dont have to worry about now is the sides of the wheel wells when parking next to curbs. so if you're worring about increased scraping, i'd really only worry about the sides near the fender wells when turning in and parking next to the curb and such.

those are the areas of the pieces that have scrapes, near the wheels.

that thing that is scrapping is the Air Deflector. Thats why its still scrapping after you took off the ground effects.

If you can, post some pics of the pieces, and some close ups of the curb rash, or if you put them on ebay, post something here when the auction goes into effect. I want this kit badly

ahhhh sorry guys!!! the kit will be sold, eventually. im having a crazy couple of weeks right now and it's towards the bottom of a very long list of things to get done. i'll make a new topic when i catch myself up with life. I'll most likely just put it on ebay, and you guys can do the bidding that way. sorry again for the inconvenience!
