Firebird Radio Controls

Posted By: cubx On: 11-20-2009 @ 00:08:29         Reply | Edit
Will the Steering wheel radio controls on a 94 Firebird work with an aftermarket stereo? I'd keep the stereo that is coming with the car, but my sony has an ipod interface, which makes things so much easier (radio sux these days), 4000 songs on shuffle :-).

I don't think so, but I haven't tried it. It may work with some radios

Aren't I helpful?

Nope unless you have a radio that can use a special interface module that will make use of the controls.

Usually there is an adapter you can purchase, they run about $100ish but will allow you to use the steering wheel controls.
