runaway door key

Posted By: cubx On: 11-15-2009 @ 21:01:16         Reply | Edit
i hate trying to sell a car. Some ass clown started down the road with my car today and brought it back saying it was over heating. Well yeah, it got hot, but never got into the red. They just didnt give the fan time to kick in. They leave, and then I notice I dont have a door key and arent answering my phone. So now im locked out of my f**kin car, I have someone else coming to look at it Saturday, but have no key. The car I wanted might be gone by then. So im wondering if it would be cheaper to take my Vin to a dealer and have a key made or call a locksmith tomorrow. I need drink!

Do you have manual locks?

If you have automatic locks, the alarm should go on if you use the door key to unlock the car. I know it does in my car. It won't go off until I put the key in the ignition or use the remote.

the problem being, I wouldnt have a car or the money to replace it and I honestly don't care at this point what size engine I have as long as its an fbody.

This dude is lucky I'm an honest man. I just found his $1,800 paycheck in the glove box of my car. I'm being nice and mailing the damn thing back to him even though he did keep my door key which only cost $10 to replace....
