I've found a 94 firebird on craiglist for cheap. I contacted the seller. He doesnt know if the thing runs. He says he doesnt have the key. How much do these keys usually run? I am selling the camaro and the other firebird I wanted that looked just like this one, sold today. I'd like to take a look at the one with no key and possibly have a key made and make the buyer take it out of the price of the car. But you can see where I am going with this I think.....

You can get a key made at the dealer with the VIN and proof of ownership of the vehicle. Lol but in this situation it might be kind of hard. --

^That kind of depends...
Most dealerships only keep the key codes for ~10 years. --

I got a key for a 90 cutlass from the dealer just a couple of months ago. They still keep them in the system. --

u could always bypass the chip in the key and use a screwdriver to start it lol maybe get a nice key chain for the screwdriver
