hello I'm am new to this whole fbody thing...i just bought a 1998 Pontiac firebird nothing big just a little 3.8 with a 5 speed. and i was just wanting to know what to look for...basically what problems they can have. I've never owned one til now and didn't do too much research. any help is appreciated.

welcome, I am of no use,I hate veesicksers, but some of the simpletons in this section can prolly give you some good advice.

My answer to your "what to look for" ? is a good V8 and ditch the sickser

for shtis and giggles, i have a few parts left over from my m5 v6 if your looking. as for problems, not much, just watch out for the walls that jump out in front of you on rainy days.
