test drove a t/a

it was a 2000 dark metalic blue trans am m6 car, 70,000miles, leather with some options and some that didnt work, non ram air, and completely stock. now i know they are nice and all, and i know it was a used car lot that i test drove it from, but $13,500? come on, even if they came down 2000 from their price it still wasnt close to being 7-8thousand dollars more car than mine. for some reason every time i drive a t/a i find it impossible to see the sense in the car being "worth" that much more than mine. yes they're faster, but if you arrent ready to dump another 2grand into a 12bolt or more into a 9inch then forget bolt on's and dr's...idk just seems stupid to me... --

what i dont understand is the problem with used car dealers, you can get a built lsx 4th gen that will run likely high elevens for 7-9 grand...how could the dealerships even think that 13.5k is even close to reasonable for an 8 year old ls1 with 70k on the clock...i dont see an ls1 being worth buying stock and dumping all of the extra money into to make it something else when you can get one for half the price that's already where you want to be, and even if its not exactly how you want it, atleast there will already be a lot of supporting mods there...but now i cant even dream of a t/a because i just got a magical medical bill from 11 months ago that put my ass broke, oh well... --
