winter weather Posted By: Storn On: 03-15-2010 @ 14:02:39 Reply | Edit it sucks... on my way home from work, its sleeting, im going north on US41. some old dude in a early 90's cadilac cuts me off. my car starts to slide, so i counter steer it once, twice, three times, but cant manage to keep it on the road from there and i go into the median, the car is now sliding/spinning through the median at about 50mph. after a couple 360's the car is pointed forward again, so i grab 2nd gear and keep the momentum enough to get it back onto the road. so i make it home and take a shop light looking all over and under the car. it doesnt appear to have any visible damage, and it was driving straight. im pretty surprised i didnt pull a tire off of the wheel. /end sucky day --    2001 V6 5speed Posi 3.73's, Pacesetter Headers, Magnaflow High Flow Cat & Cat-Back, Cut-Out, Whisper Lid, Home Made EGR Delete, B&M Short Throw W/T-Handle, 180* Thermostat, 2-10in kicker comp vr's running off a momoblock, 4 infinity reference 6012's off a 4channel jbl... Posted By: Storn On: 12-24-2008 @ 00:55:55 Reply | Top | Edit i have fun in the snow, but 50-60mph with dumbasses in front of you, there isnt a lot of choice as to what happens. burnouts and donuts on snow and ice are fun because its easy on the drivetrain and tires but you still get to make lots of noise and such. howi, honestly i prefer drifting my car on dry pavement above all, there is a lot more control and feel involved when sliding in that manner. on snow and ice its more of a momentum loopy thing that you cant really control in the same sense as on dry pavement. --
