Posted By: cmerc On: 03-13-2010 @ 18:08:36         Reply | Edit
hello you nice v6 type peeps I was curious if any of you nice guys had any turbo experience
My TT rice Toyota (dual exhaust)seems to have dropped at least one turbo, it's way down on power.
Whats the easiest way to check this?
Thanks guys, and for the record I have always admired the effort and skill you guys put into your cars Thanks.

You may not be very far off.....One turbo might not be running or perhaps if the system isnt "sealed off" (one way in/out) good enough it could be robbing you of the power you were used to. It could also be that a pipe is clogged somehow....those are possiblities if you think the turbo is the source of the weakened state of your car.

Why in the world would I ever want to downgrade to a V8?

Check the vacuum lines from your wastegates. Also if you can, check for shaft play (insert gay jokes here) on your turbos.

Atheism-The belief that there was nothing and nothing hapened to nothing and then nothing magically exploded for no reason, creating everything and then a bunch of everything magically rearranged itself for no reason what so ever into self-replication bits which then turned into dinosaurs...makes perfect sense.
