I'll be hitting Sacramento raceway's 1/4. So let play a game, what do you think i'll run?

Mods as follows:

2000 M5 3.8, AMS Oil, Free Cold air intake + lid, OBX TB Spacer w/ NOS Wet Kit Plumbed, Custom Kevlar Clutch, B&M Short shifter, 8mm Taylor & NGK Iridum plugs 160 deg. thermostat, Powerstop C/D Rotor w/VGX pads, Posi & OEM 3.73's, TT2's w/ BFG's, Prokit Springs, 1LE Front & Rear Swaybar, BMR LCA, BMR Panhard Rod, KYB AGX 8-ways, Pacesetter Headers, 3 inch piping, no meow, cutout, 3 chamber Flowmasters, HP Tuners Software w/ Intense (like) racing tune, 5%in the back 35% on the sides, Eclipes deck, Kenwood EQ, Infinity Kapa 6.5 up front Kicker 6.5 in the rear, Comp VR 12, Kicker 400.1 (sub) 300.4 (mids & highs), Optima battery, Full 6-point Roll Cage.

I'm going to keep the stereo system in and i'll be running a 75 shot

Actually I ran 14.60's on way less mods with 3.73s. If you can hook then 13's are doable.

BUT you have several things working against you like the weight of the stereo, rims, lowering kit, and sometimes aftermarket brakes slow you up just a tad.

i agree for the most part on what will slow me down. the 2 biggest factors, besides the driver, is the roll cage and the wheels are 22 lbs in the front and 24lbs in the rear (just rim not tire)

aside from the fact that ur soon to kneel to ur majesty, I will be the best driver on the track by virtue of the fact that i post here. come on...

sadly, for every step forward, in the 1/4, i've taken 2 steps back. I took out the rear seats, seat belts, but put on really heavy rims on it. take out the cat but put in a roll cage... I need to figure out wtf i wanna do with this thing

Its not even so much the weight of the rims as is hooking with bigger rims and low profile tires.

yeah, jeremiah is definitely right there...i thought it was going to be terrible with my car and its new wheels and tires but with such a large footprint and such sticky summer only tires it isnt nearly as bad as i thought it would be.

Sacremento is 100ft...calculate the DA the night you are out there to get a better feel for how well the car is running.

its been a shitty day and i feel like a jackass!!

1. the car was misfiring, & we thought it was because it was running rich

2. went to tech and like jeremiah said the didn't even look at anything, but the battery. he made me zip tie it in place.

3. first run was 15.7 all motor and 15.2 with n2o at 90 degrees.

after the nitrous run it was missing so bad that i just parked it tell we left because i still had to drive it 131 mile home.

on the way home, we fill up at the gas station and it died and didn't want to refire. upon close inspection the ground terminal was loose :no:

a loose cable keep me from bettering my time.

damn thats sounds like a fucked up day and your car wasnt there to perform at its best when u needed HER the most, lol damn , are you going to try again after you fix that loose cable??

i want to get some more work done. i know she is good for a high 14 right now, it was a matter of conditions. people drop a few tenths as the night progressed. I want to need a helmet for sure
