Just got my camaro today and it feels great, like i'm finally in a ''real car''. I'm getting better at stick but getting it to go I just gotta get used to. Move's pretty good as well, much better acceration than my 2.8 and I can feel it put me in the seat a bit. Already got some plans for the car as well...Let me know what you guys think or what would be some nice options...
Magnaflow Dual Exhaust- $450 with 3 inch pipes
Possible CAI- K&N
Some nice ''Camaro'' mudflaps
Tint the windows.

some cars just dont look right with them
you dont need one in a camaro anyhow, since the wheels dont stick out far enough to throw stuff onto the body. --

Well, its not just rusting, its salt and things like that getting up into the engine. The way I figure is would you rather pay 6k for a Nice quite new camaro 5 speed or a generic cavalier or neon for the same price? Up north prices are that much different, trust me -- 1989 Pontiac Firebird with 2.8

i lived there my entire life, never noticed them to be any different then the south or west.
the only thing that changes as you move around the country are the local economies and thus prices.
example: i was looking for a 70's vette. in GA they are 9k+ for shitty ones. but in CA they are 6-7k for nice ones. everyone here thinks they have gold in their yard, and are all pretty poor. but people in CA have money, and there are a TON of cars there, so prices arent as high.
you can keep northern vehicles nice, if you take a little time to wash them, especially during the winter.
6k isnt that bad....i think i paid like 12k for my sixxer about 2 years ago. GA ftl --
