Engine swap

I hear from some its easier to pull it from the top then i hear from others its easier to pull from the bottom. Anyone have some good links on how to do a 3800 engine swap? or any input?

just V6 to V6? from what ive heard is you can pull it out from the top if you pull the heads and intake, and get that radiator out of the way.

havent had the liberty of doing it myself tho, but my guess is thats how id do it.

yeah i heard you shoudl just pull the motor and tranny out at the same time buty i also heard that you only have to take the intake off. But anyone have a nice link where maybe someone took pics of it?

edit: yeah my bad you'd have to remove the radiator as well.

take off radiator all accessories and upper and lower intakes and then the engine and trasmission will both fit ... you don't have to take the heads off.

if your doing it at a shop and have a rack, do it from the bottom. if ur going to be on ur back, do it from the top. if you do it from the top, i agree with the above stated.

Dude it's a sickser, you should be able to lift it out by hand, and not even take the hood and accessories off cause they are so tiny.
