DRL's

i couldnt find the answer through searching so if anyone knows where to find the answer it would be appreciated.

do the DRL's just stop the running lights from turning on or does it also stop the automatic lights?

"First locate the DRL module. Its a black box, about the size of a pack of cigarettes. Its in the area behind the radio. Its clipped to the HVAC duct and has a blue and black connector going to it.

The blue connector has eight cavities, with only seven in use. Cavity B is empty, if this terminal is grounded the DRL's will go out. The black wire in cavity A is a ground."

if you want a switch to turn them on and off, but still come on automatically, then run a wire from the Cavity B terminal to the switch, then run one from a ground source to the other post on the switch. This involves some soldering. thats it.
