Well I have been using my odometer for the longest time to tell how much gas I have, but it is really becoming annoying seeing the needle always pegged to F. What can be the cause of this, and is it a exspensive fix?

either your gauge is broken, sending unit, or some wiring somewhere.

you can fire the parts cannon and start replacing stuff

you'll have to drop the fuel tank, so its very time consuming.

and the sending unit is one piece with the pickup, so im not sure how much they run

...cut a hole in the hatch to get to your sending unit. Gotta be extremely careful, but it makes the job REALLY easy.
