Stereo malfunction

I have a 97 Firebird and I am having stereo problems. I have an aftermarket deck and it is not the deck that is screwed up because I have tested other decks.

When I am driving my stereo will lose power completely. When it comes back on though it will keep playing the cd from where it left off and not lose any programming. I am wondering if you guys have any ideas. Thanks for any help.

So I assume that the other decks you have tried do the same thing, therefore that would lead me to the conclusion that there is a bad connection somewhere in the circuit that powers the unit.

The other decks did the same thing. Where should I look. I already looked at the harness at the deck and its ok.
