Blown Gauge Fuse

Posted By: 99W68Firebird On: 03-15-2010 @ 01:09:02         Reply | Edit
Ok sounds stupid, but anyways my friend blew my 10A gauge fuse today trying to hardwire my GPS to fuse box, and he put a 25A fuse in there cuz don't have a 10A around, and the lights on the gauge still don't work, jus wondering if I need the 10A fuse or if something else is screwed up now

yeah, im not sure but there has to be something else in that circuit other than just the gauge bulbs, maybe not, but if there is and that works with the fuse in, then you've blown your bulbs...

its not too bad, you have to kinda work the plastic bezel out without scratching the gauge lens. thats the hardest part other than changing bulbs, i havent done that yet. but it shouldn't be too bad.
