Activity here

Posted By: cmerc On: 03-21-2010 @ 14:44:07         Reply | Edit
Amazing the sickser forum is seeing some activity recently.
Must be a lot of broke ass people here what with the recession and all, or have some of you older members started creating new sigs to make the mods think this section still has a reason to exist?

Yep, just what I figured, no one uses this forum except golden when he's around, Mods you may as well suggest that Jim closes this section down.

oh go bite yourself, lol, we're all just busy having lives, unlike someone around here ^...

i personally was busy working on a fwd 3800, my cousins monte, she didnt want to take it to a dealership, and also couldnt afford it, i saved her about 400 dollars, and also got to learn what it feels like to break both of the tips of my pinky fingers and have the nails about to fall off...turns out spark plug boots that havent been off in 140,000 miles tend to stick...

in hindsight wasnt the best idea for a saturday, but i like to help out...

We actually had stores shutting down early in Baton Rouge during Christmas because they cant find enough workers.

Thanks Cmerc!

Anyway, anyone else watching those crude oil prices falling? So far were down to $86 a barrel and since this is most likely only the beginning I would imagine that its going to continue falling further...also due to the fact that Spring is typically a weak season for fuel demand. I think its sad that the worlds biggest oil consumer, the US, had to take a hit like this in order to convince some people to stop raising the price of oil.... and now they are going to pay for it. Meanwhile the rest of the world is also feeling the pain of our recession as the world markets having been in a downward slide for at least the past 3 days. if the rest of the rest of the world follows us just imagine how much further the price of oil will fall. Its just too bad that it had to come to this to make others see the light.

I hope it drops all the way back down to $25 a barrel, though I wouldnt complain if only went down to $40 or $50 but this 90 and 100 per barrel is freakin rediculous.

thanks for the good words on my bird everyone

Yep, you know oil prices are WAY too high when it takes flippin 45 dollars to fill up from 1/4 of a tank! Good thing I'm letting my 84 Sierra sit, that turd takes premium and I can't fathom paying that price... I don't think the pump would even let me fill it up. If prices drops bacl down to $25 a barrel I'm gonna dance naked in the streets.

I've only got the 26 gallon tank in my truck. I only get about 400-450 miles on the highway in the truck, but the 16 gallon GP tank gets me 500-550 miles on road trips. I can get even more if I REALLY try.
