Foggy Head Light

Posted By: tamuaggie2007 On: 03-16-2010 @ 12:06:49         Reply | Edit
Somehow my passenger side head light looks really foggy. I've tried cleaning the outside, but it doesn't help at all.

Any way to fix this? Or do I have to replace the whole unit?

you can fix it for pretty cheap, all you need is some sandpaper, water, and some plastic polish and some time.

Start out with the 800 grit and wet send going all horizontally. Dry the headlight off, then take the 1000 grit and wet sand vertically the same way. Dry that off and use the 1200 grit and go horizontally again. When your done, your headlight will be really hazed over from all the sanding. Then use the plastic polish to buff out all of the scratches and your head light will like MUCH better. Some people are able to make their headlights look brand new. When I did my stockers, I didn't have that much patience lol
