Complete opposite...

Yeah, so, I haven't been on in a while, lol. I stopped by to see how golden boy's turbo v6 project has come along, and haven't really found anything besides he doesn't have access to the 'net right now lol.

As for me, after several transmissions, I sold my Z28 (with broke trans), and have completely jumped ship lol. I now have a 99 F150 XLT, 4.6, 5 speed. It get's about the same gas mileage as the Camaro did and is more reliable so far. So, is there any other new projects out there? News? Anything?

Well to be honest with you Rick everything has kind of stalled out. Between National Guard, ROTC, the fiance, college/graduation and the wedding all of my time has been sucked up. Not to mention that Im halfway through my Senior year in college and my college funds are going to run not soon also my fiance has had some financial difficulties so Ive had to help her out. This has resulted in no additional money for further modifications/upgrades.

The bright side is that I have no school debt whatsoever and I only owe on my 2006 Volvo which Ive already been paying on for about two years. I will make about $63K during my first year as a Second Lieutenant and then around $75K during the second year as a First Lieutenant and so on as I get promoted. Sooo.....the money will be flowing freely again soon.

Why in the world would I ever want to downgrade to a V8?

I hear ya. The car will still be around later for you to play with. Regardless of what some people may think, there's more to life than cars. I'm back in school now myself, and hope to get me a better job once I'm done.
