Flowmaster catback...issues

Posted By: Fury_786 On: 03-20-2010 @ 18:49:48         Reply | Edit
Anyone else have problems with the rear 2 hangars on the system breaking?

ive had them both break twice now, and this time, the pass. side totally disappeared. so i removed them completely and replaced them with some real hangars.

Cheap parts will function like.....

Cheap parts.

Unless there was a lot of stress on them, they shouldn't break.

i think it was from all the sh*tty roads here in GA...they tore right at the weld between the pipe and the round stock/hangar.

Edit: roads, meaning really big holes and bumps, ect.

i know the system sucks, but it was on the car when i got it.

Then you should hit bigger ones untill the whole system falls off.

Use your head sparky.

Driving with open headers isn't good for your engine. Just get a good catback. Flowmaster flows like crap anyways.
