Tools Needed:
Flat Head Screwdriver
Philips Head Screwdriver
Wire Cutters
Parts Needed:
Appx. 18" Of Wire
Electrical Tape
Purpose:
Wire fog lights to stay on with hi-beams.
How - To:
Step 1 Disconnect negative battery terminal. Open fuse box under the hood on the drivers side (near the air box). Find the fog light relay (Block H).
Step 2 Remove the fuse box from the frame. You will have to push in the 6 plastic retainer clips that hold down the box. Pry up the box.
Step 3 Look on the bottom of the box under the fog light relay fuse. You should see 4 wires (orange, yellow, purple, light green).
Step 4 Cut the light green wire. Take the 18" wire you have & splice it to the wire coming OUT of the fuse box. Take this wire & ground it to one of the bolts holding the fender on the car. Make sure the wire doesn't interfere with anything else under the hood.
Step 5 Tape the dead end of the light green wire coming out of the harness.
Step 6 Reassemble (the box snaps into place) & test lights.
Step 7 Note : The light on the fog light switch on the dash still goes out when the hi-beams are on.
