Tools Needed:
Needle Nose Pliers
Razor Blado/exacto Knife
Parts Needed:
N/A
Purpose:
Cars with 2.73 Gears (GU2) cannot be manually shifted into 1st.
How - To:
Step 1
With needle nose pliers remove retaining pin from shift knob. Lift off knob (it might be on tight but it will lift off). Lift off shifter plate.
Step 2
Locate the plastic stopper to the right of the selector ramp. Use the razor blade to cut away the square stopper.
Step 3
Reassemble & you now have 1st gear.
