Custom Airbox Lid

Tools Needed:
Steak knife, saw, dremel or any other cutting tool. File, sandpaper.

Parts Needed:
Air box lid from a Raim Air induction LT-1.

Purpose:
Increase air flow.

How - To:
Step 1
Remove Airbox lid by unscrewing the 4 screws.


Step 2

Cut out "grille" of airbox(red colored area in pic) with your choice of a cutting tool. I used a serrated steak knife and finished cutting in about 30 min.


Step 3

File off rough edges from where the grille used to be.


Step 4
Sand edge of airbox opening till you have it smooth.


Step 5

Replace Airbox lid.


Step 6

Hopefully you have a K&N or Holley filter so it doesn't look like the dirty paper ones do.
