2pt STB Installation
Category:  Suspension/Chassis
Difficulty:  1
Approximate Time:  30 minutes
Application(s):  4th Gen F-body

Tools Needed:
15mm socket/ratchet
15mm wrench

Parts Needed:
2PT STB (BMR's is nice)

Purpose:
The STB tightens up the front end flex for stability when cornering.

How - To:
Step 1
MAKE SURE YOUR CAR IS FLAT AND LEVEL BEFORE STARTING!

Pop the hood and locate the shock towers. You'll see two nuts on either side. Remove the nuts from the car and place the STB over the studs. Center the STB over the studs and put the nuts back on. Make sure the STB is placed such that the nuts that hold it on do not rub against the STB. Snug down all of the nuts and make sure you have the STB centered and can get at least the wrench around all of the nuts.

Step 2
Tighten down the nuts to the final torque spec - You'll have no problem getting a socket on the outer nuts but you'll probably have to use the wrench on the inner nuts. The torque spec is 32ft lbs on those nuts so get the outside nuts on at spec then put the wrench on them to get idea how tight to get them and tighten down the inner bolts.

Step 3
All done. Ready to go but go for a test drive... not cause there is really anything to test, but a new mod is always a good excuse to go test

If the bolts are on there extremly tight you may need to use a breaker bar to get them off, but they will come off so don't be afraid.
