Comments:
We've all heard the stories about the Holley TB's "sticking". So I had my worries in the beginning. Before ordering I called Summit and asked about their return policy (in case this was to be a problem). They assured me if I had any problems they would accept it back for a refund or exchange up to 90 days. Well it's been 5 months and I haven't had one problem. I'm much happier with the quality, performance, & looks of the Holley. With the 52mm BBK I had before, I was never able to get the TPS sensor adjusted correctly. Even with 3 different TPS sensors (yes all were adjustably slotted). This caused two problems. My idle would tend to fluctuate especially when I ran the AC, and it always felt difficult to keep it at a steady speed (especially when I was in between shifts 2000-2300 rpm). With the Holley, I set it once and now my idle is rock steady (regardless of the AC) and normal driving seems effortless on my 383 motor. On trick I used before installing the Holley was to spray the blades with a chro-moly lubricant. I don't know if this kept the blades from sticking, but it didn't hurt to try. I did have to replace the idle adjustment screw with a phillips head screw (came with a flathead). The flathead makes it impossible to make a complete turn (even with a 90 degree screwdriver). One last thing, remember the hardest part of adding a 58mm TB is porting the intake to match the TB. If it weren’t for that, the installation would only be 30 minutes.

Comments:
Easy install, beautiful product. Anyone who says a 58mm TB is overkill is way off. The computer's stock fuel tables under WOT are rich from the factory, and adding this jewl leans them out quite nicely. Everything bolts up just right, and I didn't need to adjust the TPS at all. Highly recommended upgrade.
