Ive got an iron head big block in my 85z, so the stock brakes were terible. I sort of assembeled my own kit [to save a few hundo]. these parts are easy to install, i found instructions on thridgen org. I found parts locally and mail order. these brakes ROCK! I never removed the spindles from the car. the hardest part was paying for the 1LE pads from wagners mx line [177.00 list], although less expensive pads are readily avaliable. If you haven`t done it to your third gen yet, i would make it my next project. happy to help
