There are ALOT of n00bs in this section recently, and almost EVERY other thread on the first page is a year old + thread that someone did a search for and brought back.  --

Search functions are there to help people that are looking over old tech posts. It should be common sense that if you are looking for a part, if it's not on the first 2 or 3 pages, it's not current. Searching is meant for old posts mired back in the archives and shouldn't be used for parts. If you cant find what you are looking for within the first page or 2, make a parts wanted request in the so named forum. However with the amount of new traffic, you can easily search yourself into a 3 year old post. If you watch the dates and stick to the first page or 2, it will be fine. We have people (people that were then banned) that had something to sell and searched for people looking for that part and made a post in every single one. It filled the whole first page, mostly with posts that were between 6-24 months old.
