please know that all transactions made here are at your own risk, fbody.com or its administrators are not responsible for any deals gone sour in any way, use your better judgement

having said that another thing DO NOT BRING BACK OLD THREADS i dont, the date on the first post of the thread is never correct, you must instead look at the replies and or edit dates on the threads, i'm beyond sick of people bringing back an ENTIRE PAGE of threads that are at least 4 months old, i have and will lock accounts for this, consider this everyone's warning and notification of this

Dan, you might want to take a look through the first page regarding old threads. There are ALOT of n00bs in this section recently, and almost EVERY other thread on the first page is a year old + thread that someone did a search for and brought back.

why don't you fix the date problem rather than do the above...no other forum functions like that.

I've seen lots of other forums like that. I think that most of the noobs are signing up just so they can ask about a sale.

You have to be aware of the dates. What sense is there having a search archive if all the old threads are deleted? Search functions are there to help people that are looking over old tech posts. It should be common sense that if you are looking for a part, if it's not on the first 2 or 3 pages, it's not current. Searching is meant for old posts mired back in the archives and shouldn't be used for parts. If you cant find what you are looking for within the first page or 2, make a parts wanted request in the so named forum. It will yield you more results and not force the removal of dead posts that are revived.

If you brought back and old post, then yes you did. If there were 50 new posts here every day, searching in this forum would work. However with the amount of new traffic, you can easily search yourself into a 3 year old post. If you watch the dates and stick to the first page or 2, it will be fine.

We have people (people that were then banned) that had something to sell and searched for people looking for that part and made a post in every single one. It filled the whole first page, mostly with posts that were between 6-24 months old. Thats the thing that we are avoiding.
