Really need help with a repair

Posted By: thought_ignition On: 11-03-2009 @ 15:59:01         Reply | Edit
To make a long story short, it looks like my bottom power steering pump bolt came out, so the top one snapped. Anyway it is stuck in the aluminum bracket and I tried the drill / easy out method. Due to the angle it didn't work to well. Does anyone know how hard it is to take the big cast aluminum bracket for the power steering pump out? Besides the Power steering pump and alternator, what else is bolted to this bracket?

Normally back in Wisconsin I'd just throw it on the lift in the shop and do what I do, but I'm out of resources here in So Cal. Please, any help is greatly appreciated because I get out of the Marines next month and will be driving the car back to Wisconsin (which is currently a problem due to it not running).

Thanks in advance, and I'm really looking forward to the help.

You'll need to remove the tensioner pulley and the A/C compressor as well, and then there are a series of bolts holding it to the engine.
