EGR valve replacement

Anyone ever replace an EGR valve on the LT1?
I know its on the back of the intake..
YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME..
How do you get your hands in there?
any ideas or tips?
I appreciate any and all help!

Pulling the intake isn't too hard. But other than that a stubby wrench can get in there.
Why are you replacing it? Unless the diaphram is shot you could probably pull it off and clean it and reinstall. Seafoam works for cleaning the carbon out. --

I have a code 32..
it says egr..
all the hoses look good..
you think if I try the seafoam treatment it will help.
The SES light doesnt come on all the time. it will be okay for a few days, then reset itself.

Sometimes a piece of carbon can get stuck in the valve, unfortunatley the best way to clean it is to pull the valve off.
You can always try the seafoam, but unless the valve is open when your doing it it probably isn't going to do anything in that area. --
