I dont know about dealer install but what you are getting a price for is the cap and rotor not the whole unit. They are about 570.00 complete and that is without wires.

Actually, you can get them for around $300 from thepartsladi on eBay. Just do a search.

I highly recommend you do the install yourself, as you'll get ass-raped at the dealership for labor cost. It's a pretty involved process if you've never done it before, but well worth the learning experience.

Many people had problems with the earlier models (myself included). I'm not sure if they corrected those problems or not. I would suggest just sticking with an oem unit.
