whats the most compression and how much boost can i run with it i didnt bump mine up that much i know. around what hp will i have with my 383

whats the compression on the 383? really with out lowering the compression, I wouldnt go anymore than 6-7 lbs and if you over 10.5:1 I wouldnt run boost, boost and high compression dont get along to well, you will never keep a head gasket in it.

i dont think my car has that much compression just a little over stock.

if its a little over stock its more than 10.5:1 stock is 10.5:1.

well i decided im gonna do some head work on the combustion chambers to lower the compression and then supercharger

you might loose about .5 off your compression by opening the combustion chambers up but your not going to gain that much. you need dished pistons to lower the compression enough to run boost. and to run boost you need to have the ring gap set bigger, if the rings are set up for a N/A engine there set farly tight you will end up breaking a piston ring.

maybe ill just stay away from the supercharger then just run some nos
