washed moter

i was the moter in my 94firebird lt1 and now it runs like shit in gear and driveing any ideas

You must at all cost avoid getting the optispark distributor wet. THis happened to me once while driving in heavy rain and eventually it cleared out. Hopefuly yours will to, but if not, plan on replacing the distriutor. Just start by putting some miles on it and see if it dries up and clears out. --

Yes, it is very likely that it is the optispark. I hat e to jump on the bandwagon but it wasnt very wise to spray water in your engine bay, especially with a tedious piece like the opti. also being a 94 its a disadvantage as well cause it isnt vented. Order you a new one, take a saturday and stick it on and see what happens. next time use a rag --
