I have heard some negitive info here and there on Pace Setter LT's with the ceramic coating on them as well as quality.
Have you had any quality problems with your LT's
Does anyone here have Pace Setter LT's that have the ceramic coating?
How are they holding up?
Have you had any problems with the coating at all?
Did you have any fitment issues?
Any feed back that you can help me with would be great, thanks. -- http://members.cardomain.com/black_93

I've had mine for 2 years and they are showing signs of the coat fading out on the bottom, other than that they have been great. Fitment is great and I used the white paper gasket that they sent with them and have no leaks, I've read that others have had to go to a copper gasket. -- 94Z 12.993@102.11 1.72 60' Vig3200, 3.73s, PS Longtubes TDs, H-pipe, bullets dumped and a Madztune.

That's cool!
We are going to be doing the Alum. dead soft header gaskets.
that is what I have on my car with the Hooker LT and I have had no problems with those either.
I'll keep your info in mind.
Did you have to heat cycle yours 1st before you drove it any to cure the Coating?? -- http://members.cardomain.com/black_93

Keep in mind that the root intention of ceramic coating is not to prevent rust, but to lower underhood temps and increase exhaust scavenging. If you don't want your headers to rust, buy stainless steel headers. -- 95 T/A.

Naw, I didn't heat cycle mine. I just bolted them in and started daily driving it again. The upper part of the headers look great still and like RamAir said it's all about keeping the engine bay cooler.
I'm about to go with a new motor setup so I'll probably swap to a softer gasket. -- 94Z 12.993@102.11 1.72 60' Vig3200, 3.73s, PS Longtubes TDs, H-pipe, bullets dumped and a Madztune.

mine are fine, but the bottoms of the collectors are flaking/corroding a little bit, i would just get the LPP stainless headers and y pipe setup... it's an awesome deal and you most likely won't have to worry about rust. -- 93 z28, stalled and bolted, 1 of 17,850, super rare

I have the coated ones and they are starting to show signs of rust by the flange after 4 years but other then that i love em, I also used the aluminum gaskets because the paper ones are garbage. --
