When I drive my car around town sometimes it will back fire and then dying. What are some possible reasons for this happening? Could it be loading up as a resullt of my cam being larger than stock?

Need way more info. Is it tuned for the cam? Does it start right back up or does the engine have to cool down? Please be a little more specific. 6 speed? auto? With a cam and a 6 speed you may not be able to lug around town at low RPMS like with the stock cam. --

Probably the easiest (and cheapest) thing to check for first would be the spark plug wires. Make sure they aren't burnt if you have headers and whatnot. But as fireturd said need more info. --
