Time for an alternator?

Posted By: dcamaroguy On: 09-29-2008 @ 19:49:30         Reply | Edit
I noticed my car has been stumbling a little at idle lately and then the voltmeter seemed to be a little low, so I scanned it tonight. It is charging at 12.8 volts at idle and 13.1 at about 2,500 rpm. Time for a new one?

Take it down to your local auto parts store and have it tested.
