Do the fans on a 94 Camaro Z28 have a fuseable link that may cause it not to kick on when it gets hot but they will still turn on when the air Conditioning is turned on. -- Nasty Z28

Try replacing the coolant temp sensor in the water pump. This is the sensor that the engine's computer takes a temp reading from and then at the right temp, will send a ground to the fan(s) to turn them on. --

Well, this is your second thread on the same topic, you didn't mention anything you did in this thread, and weren't very specific in the first.
With the lack of information in your first post, I really didn't know whether to believe your fans were actually coming on or not. Start from the beginning; what install you started with, what all you replaced at what stages in the install, and what happened.
Did you replace all those things at once during your install, or did you replace relays, the temp sensor, etc because of the fan problem that you didn't have before you started this? --

I Started by putting a water pump in because it went out and before the old one went out the fans still turned on fine and when my old pump went out I was coming back from Texas and the old pump finally went out when I was in Oklahoma I live in Kansas so I called a machanic in Oklahoma where I was broke down at and he was a retard and tried telling me it was the t stat so he broke it so it would stay open that didn't work. That is why I put the new stat in and then when I had it trailered home I put the new pump in and I tested the relays and they were bad so I replaced them then I tested the outlet that the relay plugs into they had voltage I also checked the fuses they were fine. Then I started it and it still got hot so I put the new water temp sensor in.Then I started it and the fans still wouldn't turn on and it got hot. That is the whole story and I hope it helps. Thanks
