the nitrous is on =D

Yeah I finally got my nitrous kit on. I went with the Compucar LT1 Specific kit. It's a wet kit and currently running a 100 shot. This sound good?

Little question, for those of you spraying, how much wear do you think takes place when you spray a 100 shot? You think it'll be ok or is my motor going to blow in 6 months haha

Wet kit, supposedly the LT1 can take it all day no problem.

SOOOOO, we took the nitrous fed formula out on the highway...works perfectly. Totally kicks you in the ass. Best upgrade ever.

But still, I'm a bit worried about durability...if I keep running a 100 shot, is my motor going to blow in a few months?

Depends on the condition of your drivetrain...
a 100 shot is not brutal.as long as you have adequate fuel delivery, good plugs etc. you should be fine....

make sure you run 101 octane for extra motor safety!

Your motor will be fine as long as your retarding the ignition properly and not losing fuel presure. You can run a 150 shot for ages and it won't hurt these motors unless done improperly. Check out the block in my sig. My brother ran 150 shot on it up to 160k with no ill side affects. The only reason I took it apart was he wanted to do a h/c combo on top of the nitrous. A 100 shot is a laughing mater for the LT1 and will also help out in not grenading the tranny prematurely. The tranny is what I'd be worried about. That IS the weakest link if your on an A4. If your running DR you may want to upgrade your rear end cover to an aftermarket one as the main reason these rears blow is when the teeth on the ring and pinion get a jolt and jump teeth due to the lack of support on the back side. I ran my eaton posi/aftermarket rear girdle/richmond geared rear end to many 1.6xx 60' times with a few 1.58x times mixed in there.

thanks! i didt retard timing because i rarely use the spray, however when i know ill be using it, i usually fill up with 100 octane. one day ill switch to the 150 shot just to feel it haha. as for the trans, its brand new, so hopefully we're good there haha
