Motor Starts Runs for 20 Then Dies Posted By: SleepingZ28 On: 08-06-2008 @ 08:58:32 Reply | Edit My friend has a 94 Chevy caprice with a lt1 it starts fine runs and drives fine for about 15 to 20 minutes and then dies and wont start for a hour or two till it cools down. When they go bad they will act just like you described. What happens is it gets heat soaked and doesn't function properly. It's located on the front of the drivers side head. --

I work at a napa and we test them cold and then heat them up and retest. 90% of the time the test good cold but fail after we heat them -- 95 camaro Z28 stock for now but a 383 is in the works
