Its very convenient for me to drive right down the street to wawa and get gas. But i don't want to be buying that gas if its bad for the car. is ok to run that stuff? it says up to 10% ethanol in the gas, but i don't want it to cause problems. --

As long as you're not using E85, ethanol at 10% is fine. That's pretty much all there is as far as pump gas anymore. -- 97 T/A Moroso Cold air intake, Mufflers? We don't need no stinkin mufflers!

Im very picky about the gas that I put in my car. Wawa gasoline is iffy, at best. I think their premium is only 92 octane. My car gets terrible gas mileage (like 16 mpg) and runs like crap on Wawa gas. On Shell 93 octane I get 16.5 mpg, but on Sunoco Ultra 93 I get around 19.5 and the car runs better. I think the Ultra 93 is still a 10% ethanol mixture though. --

that's true, i still have my firing problem at the moment so im getting terrible gas also, but at the moment its my everyday driver so i have to drive it.
i actually went to sunoco last night after a low wawa fill up before. and i did notice she was a little bit more steady on accel/decel. There is for sure a difference. i just put shell in it, and that seems to be nice too.
Either way, wherever i go i get highest octane available. i just didn't know if the Ethanol only applied to the 87 regular or all the above. (plus, premium). --

I honestly can't tell the difference between 87 and 93 in my car. I still get around 20 MPG or better driving conservatively, which is most all the time. Of course it's 12.6 miles driveway to driveway from my house to work and I don't go anywhere else normally. --

I average 23mpg with mixed city/hwy driving on 87 octane all the time. I don't think we have the ethanol gas down here though. --
