Posted By: cunningham On: 07-27-2008 @ 17:11:23 Reply | Edit i put a t56 trany out of a 96 trans am into my 95 camaro that had an auto. the auto that was in the camaro came out of 94 buick roadmaster which is obd1. my dad has a 96 stepside truck that also has a 4L60E in it and is obd2. will the trany out of the roadmaster work in my dads truck since the trany came out of a obd1 car and his truck is obd2? -- 95 camaro Z28 stock for now but a 383 is in the works Posted By: useful_idi0t On: 07-27-2008 @ 22:01:12 Reply | Top | Edit i think there was something about the TCC lock up that was specific to 94 4L60E's and the computers from that year. ask a transmission shop, they would know since they deal with cores from different cars and different years all the time. --

Pretty easy to do. --
