Posted By: x91z28x On: 07-25-2008 @ 00:26:52         Reply | Edit
on my way home tonight..neither side of my turn signals flash....arrow on dash just stays lit as well as lights for turning. i don't see a bulb out on either side. my 4ways work. is there a relay or fuse for the flash for turn signals or is it in the switch for it?

the flasher/relay should be under the drivers side of the dash.

hahahahha
when it stays on like that it means you have a bulb out
just check ur bulbs
everytime i blow a turn signal bulb or a marker light it makes the turn signals do that
its kinda like a warning
ur turn signal light may be out but ur parkin light would be lit making the appearance that there is no bulb out
take the bulb out and look at it
oh and ur rear turn signal bulbs have two filiments in one bulb
check the bulb carefully

i know it usally means i have a bulb out...however..in this case i didn't. both sides weren't working. it wasn't a bulb. i checked all of them twice. it was the flasher. i know about filiments and such

use a multimeter and narrow it down start and the steering column and work your way down the line

That's weird, normally when I have a light out the flasher flashes more quickly instead of holding steady.

i was thinking blinker fluid to...but its was full...weird. and yea typically when a bulb is out, it blinks faster because of the resistance not being there...atleast thats my understanding of why

Hey - Heres one for you! My right blinker works only some times, when it's in the mood I guess, any ideas on this one? Thanks

P.S. Already checked the fluid, it's ok.

dboy...try replacing the bulb...also make sure wires are tight, no corrosion, etc. the filiment in the bulb may be coming loose...wires may be goin etc.
