somebody was tellin me that the p was not present in all vin numbers. that this was some kinda vette killer or something.the rearend package is a gu6.

GU6 just means it has 3.42 gears, which all 94 and up 6 speed cars came with.

Nothing at all. Just means the car was equipped with a V8.
