installing torque converter

are there any good writeups for installing a torque converter on the internet for our cars? i searched google a bit but they were all for the wrong transmission. -- 93 z28, bolt ons, 1 of 17,850, super rare

It should be basicaly the same procedure for all RWD cars.I dont know of any sites, but heres some tips.
Make sure you put as much fluid in the torque converter as you can.
Use locktite(red) on everything!
If the input shaft is double splined, make sure the converter is "in" all the way.
Buy a flywheel turner.
What hood is that on your Z? --

A trans cooler is a must when going with a stall. A stall will cause much more heat, so find the biggest cooler you can and run it through both the radiator and the cooler second.
3-4 feet of trans cooler hose and hose clamps.
