So here is SD we have gotten like 8 inches of rain in the last 3 days and there was some flooding. Well i ended up driving my car through about 5 inches of water, i inched it through to avoid any issues but that didnt help. Now my car has this bad misfire thing like its running on 5 cylinders then all the sudden clicks back to 8 and spins the tires. Im almost forced to floor it just to keep it going when it starts missing then it just stops and runs fine and burns out. Already got yelled at for it by some old man.
But it only does it at like 20%-40% throttle. It still runs fine at full throttle. Its throwing a PO152 which is a high voltage oxygen sensor code.
MY QUESTION IS could a pissed off oxygen sensor cause this or did i fry my optispark or something like that. Im gonna replace the oxygensensor on monday regardless but im just curious if this is what could be causing it.
and i know im retarted for driving my car through that much water but i was forced and i hate myself for it.
Thanks everybody

replace that. if it dosn't work....then i would reccomance and fuel tune up. plugs, wires, opti, oil change. while all the plugs are out...crank it some to get any water that maybe in the block out. i would do all that anyway. nothin good comes from water on ignition parts. -- Any chevy can be an SS.
Only a Camaro can be a Z28
