Track Numbers

I finished getting baseline numbers for my 1994 Z28 tonight as I took it to the track. As stated before, I'm starting this build from scratch and keeping track as I go. The car is a 1994 Z28, A4, with 2.73 gears that is stock with the exception of ZR1 wheels and Eibach lowering springs. Rated 275hp and 325tq it dynoed 230 hp and 273 tq to the ground. I had previously g-teched it just for comparison's sake. It ran a 14.1 @ 100ish on the g-tech.
Tonight I got the final baseline for it at Lebanon Valley Dragway. I left the car untouched except for changing the oil (conventional oil) and setting the tire pressure to 45 psi front and 35 psi rear (changed to 30 psi after the second pass).
My first run I spun to a 14.79 @ 96 mph with a 2.40 60'.
Second pass was not much better with a 14.63 @ 96.5 mph with a 2.25 60'.
At this point I was beginning to think that maybe I just got a slug. I was pleasantly suprised with my final 2 passes.
14.33 @ 98.0 mph with a 2.20 60'
14.32 @ 97.5 mph with a 2.14 60'
Nothing earth shattering, but at least the car is running what it should for what it is. I would not have been happy going home with a 14.6, lol.
Now I can move on to the next stage. I'll be getting and installing a Magnaflow cat-back, K&N CAI, airfoil (the Thunder Racing Kit), a 1LE elbow, Nitto drag radials, and Royal Purple oil. Then it will be back to the track and hopefully a 13.9 second pass unless the weather kills my performance.
I'll be holding off on the dyno until I get more hp mods than those listed above. At $100 a pop for 3 pulls on the dyno, the track is just more fun. -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28 M6

Not in the first round. They'll be in my second round of mods. I know that I should do them ASAP, but I'm not looking forward to doing the install, lol. -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28 M6

^It's no more expensiv that the Mobil 1 that I'll be running anyway.
Headers will probably be in the 3rd round of mods. I'll be going with BBK shorties. I had them on my old 1994 TA and they fit excellently and gave me a good gain. I don't want longtubes because this is just a mild driver and not a hardcore street/strip car like the 2002, and I don't want cat placement problems.
I'll list my mod stages once I get them fully planed out. -- Blue 1994 Camaro Z28 A4

Nah, my car is stock looking except for the SS wheels (ZR-1 style). Let me know when you go again, I'm gonna try to get up there quite a bit this year! -- Red 2002 Camaro Z28 M6
