Can anyone tell me the cheapest place to purchase new 98+ LS1 TA style tail lights?

I'd say your best bet would be eBay or just order them from gmpartsdirect.com. I searched high and low for them a while back and couldn't find them for a low price anywhere.

If you go through gmpartsdirect.com you'll end up paying around $400 for the set, same with eBay unless you get lucky and find an auction for a used set.

Just avoid the dealerships....

Thanks -

I was hoping someone made "replacement" tails in China or something for $150 or something. Now I just need to decide if the upgrade is worth $400....they do look damn good *grunt* Do you happen to have the part numbers for those tails?

i know of a pair in the salvage yard from a '98 transam. they are asking $100.00 ea. they are nice. i might get them soon, if they still there.i do know they are expensive. for $400.00 why don't you go L.E.D.
