Head Porting?

can it be done by an novice with a little bit of experience and decent mechanical ability? i cant find decent a machinist in my area. i want to do a cam swap and do work on the heads.

You just need to be carefull if its your first time you could easily ruin the heads. I wouldnt do anymore than just clean up the heads by removing the casting flash and just basicaly smoothing the ports. Also you could have them decked ten thousanths to bump up compression.

if i used a mild cam will that cleaning up have sufficient flow for the cam?

hanvent decided hows the cc306 on the street? i dont want to do gears until i get a 12 bolt. the 10 bolt should last cause i dont take the car to the strip. Its just a fun street car that i can drive every day and get over 20mpg
