Need some Procharger Info

As you may know Harlan is in the process of putting my car back together for me. The problem is that at this moment I got a good deal on a POS powerdyne about a year and a half ago without doing my research and will have it on the car running 11lbs of boost until I sell my Iroc or my GS500F motorcycle. At which point I will be upgrading to a procharger. My Engine is a fully forged 383 LT1 with 66lb injectors, Lloyd Eliot stage 3 heads and LE-3 custom cam designed for my application. I have a front mount intercooler and all of the supporting mods. Oh and the block is stainless steel O-ringed as well. It has billet splayed four bolt mains, and 9:1 compression. My question is about which head unit to upgrade to? I know that the D1SC is a great unit but I don't know if my motor can take more power than the D1 can make? How much power can this motor make? How much bigger and better is (and what is) an F1 or F2 or F1R? And lastly is it better to go with a bigger blower to make less boost and the same amount of power but at the same time not be so hard on the head unit itself? This car will be street driven. Sorry for all of the questions but I want to do my research and do it right this time! Thank you in advance for the help -- 95 T/A, Black S/C'ed 383 6 speed (Harlan's work in progress)

I will have my d1sc maxed out at around 15psi and 700rwhp. An f2 should max out at 1100-1200rwhp assuming your motor can take that much boost. From other people, I've herd it is better to run a bigger blower with lower boost. It would be easier on the blower, and with the same boost levels will probably make more power than twisting the smaller blower to the max. Here's a paper I got from Procharger, and the hp ratings on it are flywheel numbers that seem fairly accurate.

are you going to O ring the block and heads? what head gaskets, thats the main factor on what its going to take, if you can keep a head gasket in there. I didnt want to O ring mine to many people have problems with coolent leaks on a street car, I plan on running around 15 lbs on mine with a D1 and thats about as much as the gaskets are going to take if I can even get them to stay in there. get head studs for sure. if you have money for an F series go for it. --

I had SCE make me a set of copper head gaskets because the block is o-ringed with stainless steel o-rings. The head gaskets if I remember correctly have a quench of .034 I think? It's been almost a year since I had them made. Lloyd Eliot is the one who told me how thick to go and said that it put me right at 9:1 compression. And the guy at SCE assured me that these were the best they made and that these had the silicone impregnated around the bolt holes and required no additional sealant and would take the abuse of street driving. I knew that o-rings helped with the sudden shock of nitrous so I thought it would maybe help with a big blower too.
