lt1 stock dyno numbers.

I was wondering what LT1's normally dyno at? I was reading 2 different articles from 2 different magazines, and they basically dynoed a stock lt1 in both, and then dynoed after a mod was installed. They both dynoed a stock LT1 at 230 HP and 255 trq for a stock LT1. They also dynoed stock ls1's and got about 260 HP and 280 trq.
My lt1 is basically stock, and I dynoed, 262 HP and 302 trq, which is higher than a stock ls1 accorrding to 2 magazine articles I read. One of the 2 articles, was about modding an lt1 to dyno higher than an LS1. and they added bolt ons, and got it higher than an ls1. But even after headers, intake, and dynotune, they only got it to 275 hp, and 300 trq.?

Maybe it was a mustang dyno and not a dynojet?

it was definitely a camaro, and it was in the "camaro" magazine. I've seen some posts of other ppl having those low stock dyno numbers too. I have also dynoed my car with a stock 97 TA, and it produced lower numbers. I don't think it was a dyno jet, does jetmaster sound right??

They are not saying the car was a mustang, but the dyno is a mustang. The brand names out there are "dyno jet" and "mustang dyno", has nothing to do with fords, its just a name.
