Good brakes

Was rotating my tars and noticed the front brakes were getting thin. Didnt remember when they were put on and had to go get the the ticket. They were put on six and a half years ago and they have 49k on them. Pretty outstanding for front brakes I think. I put the Napa Ceramix brand on back then. I hope they still have them.

There is generally an inverse relationship between brake pad longevity and stopping power, so lasting a super long time is not always a good thing. On the contrary the highest performance pads will wear out super fast and create a ton of dust.

I used a Hawk pad that seemed like a happy medium between performance and longevity.

Just like tars, the softer you get,the better traction you you get.
